The race was scheduled for 9:00am AEST on Saturday before being delayed in the first instance to 10:00pm AEST.
Rain pushed the start back to Sunday morning at 11:00 am AEST. However, it was pushed further back owing to the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series being delayed.
While the O’Reilly Series was able to get the go-ahead, the Truck Series will have to wait until an as-yet-to-be-announced time.
Practice and qualifying were rained out, forcing NASCAR to set the field according to the rule book, reverting to the qualifying metric.
